We are a Class A General Contractor based out of Richmond, Virginia, providing reliable building solutions and quality construction management to both the private and public sectors across the state of Virginia. Our expertise covers commercial and industrial constructionmulti-housing and residential constructionmunicipal construction, historical preservation, and property maintenance.

With roots in the construction guild extending back for more than three generations, brothers George and Tim Avgeros established First Class Contracting, in 1997. Since then, we have worked to emphasize the hallmarks of professionalism, integrity, innovation, and consistency in projects of all sizes and complexities. George and Tim stand behind their resolution to complete every project with the highest degree of quality and craftsmanship. The core of our company is built on trust and lasting client relationships, and our “customers first” approach helps to solidify our unequaled reputation in the industry.

We support many initiatives within the community both through carrying out projects with sustainability in mind, and by supporting its staff, community groups and charities.

Our contributions to the Central Virginia economy can be measured through job creation and mentoring small and minority business subcontractors. We educate and assist them with business planning and organization, marketing, as well as becoming business leaders.

Community Involvement and giving back is important to our company. First Class Contracting gives back to the community by financial sponsorship, donating time to non profit organizations and anonymously undertaking relief and charitable projects.
